Sounding: Penises & Vulvae - Online Class LIVE - December 14, 2025

Urethral sounding is one of those things that looks easy, and it is, once you know the steps behind it!

In this workshop we will go over basic aseptic technique—how to create and maintain a clean working environment, as free from microbes as possible—so that we can penetrate the urethra with minimal risk of infection. We will also learn why this is important, how prone to infection both male and female anatomy are, and where the danger points lie.

We will discuss appropriate materials for sounds and how to tell the difference between them. Included will be a list of local and international vendors from whom you can purchase sounds, as a starting point (I do not receive any sort of financial or other benefit from this!), and where to avoid buying.

There will be an in-depth look at the anatomy in question so that you fully understand, from both the inside and outside, what you are doing. You will be able to visualize, before starting, the path of the sound and the anatomy it is passing through and stimulating.

I will be providing demonstrations on a model with a penis and one with a vulva so that you can see firsthand what sounding looks like and the differences in depth of penetration and technique. I will be using both hegar and rosebud sounds.

Finally, we will discuss myths and other rumours regarding sounding, since there are so many.

Please note we will not be discussing catheters or entering the bladder. I will not teach these techniques, as they move too far into the medical realm and can not be taught safely/legally in this type of workshop environment

Presenter Bio:

Morgan Thorne has been practising BDSM all her adult life. She got an introduction to kink through the Queer community in the early 1990s and knew she had found ‘her people’.

Morgan has also spent a decade working as a Professional Dominant, which has allowed her to expand her skills as both a Top and a Dominant. Morgan has offered workshops, lectures, and BDSM training for several years. She has a successful YouTube channel where she educates about D/s relationships, BDSM basics and various kinky skills.
