Bloody Valentine is a Medical Play Intensive Mega Class! This means you get 8 HOURS of medical play instruction for a single ticket! You will not find a more intense, thorough variety of classes anywhere else.
The best part? You get to decide what some of the components will be! When you buy your ticket, you will get a link to vote for your favourite component, and the most popular will be taught. You must have purchased your ticket before February 1, 2025, to have your say in the optional components. I will need time to arrange demo bottoms.
There is time for 3 - 4 optional components in addition to the required Medical Asepsis class.
Medical Aseptic Technique for BDSM (Required Component)
Kinksters enjoy a wide range of medical play; much of it breaks the skin or is otherwise invasive to the body (such as sounding). This type of play requires cleanliness and attention to detail that can be difficult to learn independently, from a book or online. Medical Aseptic Technique for BDSM Play will demonstrate how to minimize risk while having fun.
This class offers in-depth and hands-on training on how to practice medical aseptic technique for BDSM play – using the best available products and procedures to minimize the spread of infection and disease. You will receive practical education on the products available, their relative costs, effectiveness and overall worth, and what you want to look out for.
Time will be dedicated to busting the common myths and misconceptions common within BDSM communities, putting to rest many of the persistent rumours. This class will emphasize the importance of practicing medical aseptic techniques for BDSM play and show how they can be used without getting in the way of fun. Ample time will be set aside for questions and answers at the end.
Play Piercing 101 (Optional Component)
Play Piercing is very popular in kink culture; however, finding a knowledgeable and experienced person to teach you is difficult. Morgan Thorne comes from a medical and professional piercing background – she deeply understands medical asepsis techniques and why they must be observed, even between fluid-bonded partners. Play Piercing 101 is the most thorough workshop for BDSM/kink play piercing practices you are likely to find anywhere!
We will watch Morgan perform a few piercings on a demo bottom or herself so you can observe proper technique. She will then walk you through each step, from setting up an aseptic field to putting on gloves, skin prep, holding the needle, and using how much pressure.
*Please Note* Since this class is 101, we will only be discussing basic techniques; we will not be discussing genitals/nipples, advanced needle techniques (such as layering needles) or anything beyond basic play piercing.
Play Piercing 201 & 202 (Optional Components, pre-requisite Play Piercing 101)
Once you are competent with the basics of play piercing, we can move on to more advanced techniques. Layering needles (ouch buttons or sadist buttons) and weaving in and out of the skin will be taught in this section.
We will also learn the finer points of where and where not to pierce when it comes to nipples and genitals on the vulva, penis and scrotum. A thorough discussion and understanding of the relevant anatomy and underlying structures will be had so that participants can visualize important tissues and successfully play pierce genitals in all their variations across the gender spectrum.
Demonstrations will depend on the availability of demo bottoms (demos may be pre-recorded)
Suture Skills (Optional Component)
Sutures are often talked about but rarely seen due to the level of skill required. This workshop will give you a basic knowledge of techniques to practice and refine your suture skills. Like anything, it takes many hours of practice to get it right!
Understanding the anatomy of the skin is essential so that you can visualize it while performing sutures. We will also learn about the different types of sutures, what we might use them for, sizing, suture needles, and tools. Proper tool handling will be taught so that everyone may get comfortable handling the necessary instruments.
The specific skills taught will be the instrument tie, the simple interrupted suture, the simple running suture, and the simple locking suture. These four skills will give participants the basis to develop their suturing skills. Sutures in kink have various applications, and you will learn which techniques to apply to which situations.
Participants should know that suturing requires much practice to create a neat, clean-looking end product. Suture skills require using tools in ways we aren’t used to, so there is a bit of a learning curve.
Urethral Sounding (Optional Component)
Urethral sounding is one of those things that looks easy, and it is, once you know the steps behind it!
We will discuss appropriate materials for sounds and how to tell the difference between them. We will also take an in-depth look at the anatomy in question so that you fully understand, from both the inside and outside, what you are doing. You will be able to visualise, before starting, the path of the sound and the anatomy it is passing through and stimulating.
Live demonstrations on models will depend on the availability of demo bottoms. If an appropriate demo bottom can not be secured, some demos may be pre-recorded.
Finally, we will discuss myths and other rumours regarding sounding since there are so many.
Please note we will not be discussing catheters or entering the bladder. We will not be learning about these techniques, as they move too far into the medical realm and can not be taught safely/legally in this workshop environment.
Venipuncture (Optional Component)
Blood-letting. Full description coming soon!
Skin Staples (Optional Component)
While Play Piercing is fun, sometimes you want something more straightforward. Skin staples fit the bill nicely. They are simple to use, versatile and easy to remove when you’re done.
Skin staples are the point and click of the medical play world. Their ease of use and simple learning curve make them ideal for many situations. They’re great when you don’t want to carry boxes of needles. They’re fantastic for attaching things to your bottom. Of course, they can also add a nice, decorative touch to a play-piercing project.
They are easy to use, but you do need the appropriate tools. A skin stapler remover is essential if you ever want to remove the staples. Again, it’s effortless to use, but it always helps to be shown how things work.

Presenter Bio:
Morgan Thorne has been practising BDSM all her adult life. She got an introduction to kink through the Queer community in the early 1990s and knew she had found ‘her people.’
Morgan has also spent a decade working as a Professional Dominant, which has allowed her to expand her skills as both a Top and a Dominant. Morgan has offered workshops, lectures, and BDSM training for several years. She has a successful YouTube channel where she educates about D/s relationships, BDSM basics and various kinky skills.
She is the author of two successful books about BDSM, including “Exploring BDSM: A Workbook for Couples (or More!) Discovering Kink“. A follow-up book is expected in early 2021.
Morgan identifies as both a Sadist and a Dominant. She enjoys playing with various people of all orientations/genders/identities. BDSM is an integral part of her personal, romantic relationships. Morgan is both asexual and pan-romantic.
Before her work as a Professional Dominant, Morgan worked in health care. This has allowed her to gain a more thorough understanding of health and safety concerns in kink. She retired due to an injury that led to chronic pain and disability. It also spurred her interest in medical play, a way to continue to use the skills she learned in health care and to find comfort in the loss of a much-loved career.
Morgan has been active in various forms of activism, including LGBTQIA rights and sex worker rights. She strongly advocates for equality and the human rights of all people.
